From Forbes.com: “Joel Surnow, co-creator of ‘24,’ is shooting two half-hour pilots [for Fox News] of a skein he described as ‘The Daily Show for conservatives,’ due to air in primetime on Saturdays in January.”

This is perhaps one of the best one-liners I’ve heard from The Daily Show, courtesy of Senior British Correspondent, John Oliver: “George W. Bush is the right man to lead us in the era post-whatever horrible calamity he leads us into next.” Watch the whole segment here.
I know I kind of swore off proselytizing for Apple, but their latest ads have my favorite “Senior Expert” from the Daily Show in them, and, well, they gave me a chuckle, so I thought, maybe, just maybe, it’d be okay for me to send a chuckle your way. Check ‘em out.

One more thing on the censure proposal: The Daily Show with Jon Stewart interviews Senator Feingold.
The Unofficial Apple Weblog is reporting that the Colbert Report and the Daily Show are now available through iTunes. Instead of buying them one episode at a time, as one would with the other TV shows on iTunes, you can subscribe to them (like a podcast) for $9.99. The wording in the report is strange [...]
