Friday’s Challenge: Say something nice about “the other guy.”
From CNN’s If you can’t (or can) say anything nice. . .:
“We were noticing something as we did this: The people, whether they supported McCain or Obama, seemed to be in a little better mood — in an observably more pleasant frame of mind — after they were urged to say something nice about the other guy. During a campaign year that has consisted of so many raised voices and ugly charges, they seemed to like this.”
I’m asking all Fluid Imagination readers to leave a comment that says something nice about ‘the other guy.’ If you’re voting for Obama, say something nice about McCain. If you’re voting McCain, say something nice about Obama.
We get at least 60 unique visitors coming to the site every Friday, so I expect at least 30 comments on this post. It doesn’t have to be a long paragraph or anything. Just something nice.
And if anyone — anyone! — says something nasty or mean or…and yes Dave I’m looking at you…vulgar, your comment will be deleted.
Today is nice day. Let’s be nice.
