FOOTBALL IS HERE! Every red blooded American Male is grinning ear to ear this week. Football is back, and to kick off the season, I’ve got a buffalo-chicken dip that you have to make. It goes great with crackers.
Before we get to the dip though, we have some housekeeping to do. For this season, I’ll be posting a PIGSKIN recipe every Thursday, instead of the usual StumpDay recipe. The PigSkin Recipe will be something you can cook up or prepare for those cool, fall Sundays when you’ll be enjoying some football, beer, and good food.
Now get cooking!
Ingredients
- 1 package of cooked chicken, chopped into small bits
- 1/2 cup Ranch dressing
- 1/2 cup Frank’s Red Hot
- 1 package of cream cheese, softened
Directions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. In a mixing bowl, mix Ranch dressing, Frank’s Red Hot, and softened cream cheese. Add minced chicken and mix well.
Pour into a 9″ x 12″ Baking dish.
Place dish into oven and cook for 15 minutes. Serve hot with crackers, celery, and carrots.

I’ve made this dish numerous times (and its insanely good) but I prefer it with blue cheese dressing instead of ranch. Also, you have to keep it warm the whole time your eating it…it congeals into something nasty.
