- Where the Arts Were Too Liberal:
“This is an obituary for a great American institution whose death was announced this week. After 155 years, Antioch College is closing.” [Editors comment: This was a sad week for progressive education. Traditional education is good for one thing: creating a workforce; progressive education, on the other hand, helps create human beings. As a graduate of Green Mountain College’s Progressive Program and a graduate student in the flagship school of progressive education, Goddard College, I find this to be a deeply depressing statement about this country’s commitment to the future progress of the human species. It’s a sad, sad moment.
