From Waiting for Leopard: “It’s a double-shame that Apple seems to be slow out the gate with Leopard. Because 2007 probably presents the biggest opportunity Apple has had to increase their market share since, say, 1982, which was the last year that the company could have bought out Microsoft.” I read pretty much every Leopard article you can point a browser at, and this is by far, the best I’ve read in a while.

Wow, I don’t see what you do in Andy’s post. He’s just waxing poetic without the usual meaty sabre rattling.
You want good meaty Leopard stuff. Come over to my place… we’ll get our Leopard goodness on once the NDA cuffs are off. My speciality will be Leopard Server and all the Teams and Podcast server goodies under the hood.
Leopard Client’s going to be a moderate dissappointment (unless/until the ’secret’ stuff is unveiled).
I like it because Andy doesn’t try to present himself as having more access than the rest of us, and because he actually makes an interesting observation using basic materials.
Most Leopard stuff being written right now is horseshit. It either bemoans the fact that there hasn’t been much to report since August or it tries to rationalize some release date prediction or it compares what we do know to Vista. Andy’s article, on the other hand, came at it from a completely different angle, discussing why it’s a shame that Apple plays it OS cards so close to the vest.
Is is the best article that could be written about Leopard? Probably. But it the best I’ve actually seen in a while.
