It’s tough to listen to Randy Newman without thinking of the parody of him on Family Guy, but since the death of Warren Zevon, no one else quite captures that mix of humor, outrage, and ill-fatedness all at the same time. So, here’s Mr. Newman, singing/saying “A Few Words in Defence of Our Country.”
