Scrivener

From Literature and Latte: “Designed for use by writers of all kinds, Scrivener is a virtual writing studio that integrates the processes of outlining, storyboarding, research and writing. It’s a notebook. It’s an outliner. It’s a cork notice-board. It’s a ring-binder. It’s a place to store and cross-reference your research. It’s a basic word processor. From first idea to first draft: Edit. Outline. Storyboard. Write.” A friend of mine from Goddard recommended this to me, and you all know what kind of sucker I am for new Mac-based writing applications, so I tried it out. And Oh My God! if this is not the exact writing application I would design if I had the programming skills. I’ve yet to find one thing I want to do and can’t, and many helpful things I didn’t know I wanted to but now can. This thing is awesome. If you have any desire to write, and a Macintosh on which to write on, don’t wait: download the 30-day free trial of Scrivener now. I’m only six or seven days into my trial, and unless something major comes up in the next 23 days, I’m gladly handing over my $35.

Looks rad. Might even be better than Ulysses. If so, count me in.
