Bush to skeptics: What’s your Iraq plan?

From Bush to skeptics: What’s your Iraq plan?: “Bush said lawmakers ‘have a right to express their views, and express them forcefully. But those who refuse to give this plan a chance to work have an obligation to offer an alternative that has a better chance for success.’” Um, didn’t we just have like a high-profile commission introduce a plan that many people thought sounded like a good idea, one that (I’m pretty sure) didn’t call for more troops? Haven’t most policy-wonks suggested opening up the diplomatic route, where we actually talk to someone who is opposing us to, you know, hear what they have to say? And wasn’t there a whole lot of talk of bringing Iran and Syria into the diplomatic process too, since they’re basically funding the insurgency? Just checking.
