Winter? No grill? No excuse!

Who said you have to stop enjoying BBQ for the winter? Here is a recipe for BBQ fans that can be made indoors and still taste great! – NOW GET COOKING!

BBQ Pulled pork Sandwiches

  • 1 (14 ounce) can beef broth
  • 3 pounds boneless pork ribs
  • 1 (18 ounce) bottle barbeque sauce (Stumpy’s, if ya got it, and if you don’t, get it!)

Pour the can of beef broth into a slow cooker (aka, a crockpot) and add the boneless pork ribs. Cook on high heat for 4 hours (or until meat shreds easily). Remove the meat and shred with two forks. It will seem that it’s not working right away, but it will.

Now, with the over preheated to 350 degrees, transfer the shredded pork to a Dutch oven or iron skillet, and stir in barbeque sauce. Bake it in the preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until heated through.

Now you just scoop it onto warm hamburger buns and enjoy. If you’re feeling it, try topping the off the sandwich with some coleslaw.

Mmmm…pulled pork is so good, definitely my meat weakness. These sandwiches, sans BBQ sauce and with the addition of Avacado make some great beginnnings to a Torta, the most wonderful mouth-watering sandwich.

I can’t wait to try this, I think it will be mouth-watering also.
