We’re trying a little something different here. I’ve uploaded a new plugin that is supposed to let us have podcasts that you can play right on the site or that you can download directly to your computer. I have no idea if this is going to work when I push the “Publish” button. If it does, sweet. If not, then this post will probably disappear mighty quickly. Here goes.

I LOVE IT.

i definitely want to hear more podcasts…
i listened to the entire podcast last night… - when the belle and sabastian song came on… - the one that sounded like a seventies porn soundtrack… - i thought you were going to start talking dirty… - i was actually disappointed when i found out it was an actual song… - i had to pull up my pants… - i was like… - f*ck’n belle… - f*ck’n sabastian… - f*ck’n f*ckers…
Oooh, I didn’t finish listening to the whole thing yet, was that the Step Into My Office, Baby song?
it’s the second song…
the sunshine song… - the song before the bob dylan song…
I want to make a podcast!
Here’s a guide as to how to do it.
Personally, I used GarageBand, which comes with all Apple computers. You just drag the songs you want into the little area in GarageBand, use your computer’s microphone to record your voice parts, then export the file to the right file format: most people do MP3, I think, but I did mine in M4A, not consciously, but because that’s what Apple defaults to I think. MP3 will work fine. Andy will probably be able to help you out.
Once you get it all set, just e-mail it to me and I’ll upload it to the server and set the whole thing up for you.
Good luck!
are you sure you can e-mail a file of that size?
i know that i can’t mail anything over 5.2 MB’s or so with my server… - unless i could use yahoo… - maybe…
any suggestions?
Well, there’s a bunch of services out there that will let you send large files to people. For example, check out DropLoad. You can send files up to 100 MB for free. There’s a bunch of others though, and I’ve never used DropLoad, so I recommend checking out the different services before choosing which one to go with.
For you Dave, you’ve got access to your own webserver, so you could just upload the file to your own website like you do with your paintings, then send me the URL for it, and I can take care of the rest. On that note, if you’d like to do music or a podcast or whatever some week, rather than a painting, feel free. Like I said, just send me the URL and we’re good to go.
sweetness…
Give me a few weeks, but I am going to try this podcast business.
