There’s an interesting description of God in R.J. Eskrow’s The Sad State of Atheism Today, and it goes like this: “My ‘Higher Power’s’ relationship to this universe is not that of a dictator and his subject. It’s more like the relationship between a beautiful piece of music and the notes of the song.” Put some thinking into that, and then try to tell me it’s not a description of God that you can be proud of, even if, like me, you’re an atheist.
