Whatever Happened To That Finder Article You Promised?

I know, I know. Two days ago, I told that I would write about why I think the Finder in Mac OS X is in its last stages. And for the last two days, I have been writing why. But you know what? It turned out to make one ugly-ass article.

What happened was, I started doing a shit-load of research to support the intuitions I had, and as always happens, I chased some rabbit of an idea only to lose it in the woods. So to save you all the trouble of starting down the same path only to get lost, I’m going to scrap everything I wrote and start again.

Unfortunately, it’s going to take a while. So you won’t see it until Monday. Sorry about that.

Trust me, though, it’s for your own good.
