I’ve been waiting a while for someone to bring more 3-D interaction into the desktop metaphor for modern computers. I’ve checked out a bunch of the options, but so far, nothing has been nearly as intriguing as what I can imagine.
But today, I found this video on YouTube. And I realized that it’s not always the most visually pleasing thing that we want, but sometimes, it’s the most intuitive. And because they’ve stuck so closely to the desktop metaphor, this looks mighty intuitive.
