funny stuff....coming from MA....the midwesterners that I know currently, who are my age...and I know a few....are some of the most hard core religious people you could imagine....I'm not so sure things are going to change based on our generation.

And he is crazy.

I think because we are youngish people that we can not really understand why religion always has to be brought into shit like this. When our age group is old enough to be president(5 years and counting) I do not think that person will be as religious as Bush is now.

Unless as we get older you start to feel like "I better be more religious or I am going to hell or jahannam" I can not see this tattoo'd and pierced generation being to overly religious.

this letter rings true...

however... - i have trouble grasping the intertwining of religion...

the iranian president was most likely steeped in religion while growing up - so - i'm not surprised that religion is a topic in this letter... - and... - since george w. obviously invoked christianity as his sword in the war against terrorism - it's not surprising that mr. mahmoud ahmadinejad was inspired to weave religion into the letter either...

but... - i have trouble in this day and age listening to fanatics on a pedestal rant about god and equating good deeds with religion...

why can't someone simply be a good person without summoning religious reason?
