Al-Qaeda jihad vs US ‘long war’

The BBC is comparing the Al-Qaeda jihad vs the US ‘long war’, using Bin Laden’s most recent message, a 7,000 word philosophy of war, and the Pentagon’s Quadrennial Defense Review, released in February. As the BBC writes, “We therefore now have two almost simultaneous documents from the leading forces in the war and they are worth comparing.”
