Woman Has Rare Case of Bubonic Plague - Yahoo! News

It seems someone is a little jealous at all the attention that the bird flu has been getting recently, and has decided to show the world what will happen if they forget about plague (that last line should sound as if Dr. Dre was saying it: “if they forget about plague.” Get it?). Anyway, Yahoo! News is reporting that “a woman is in stable condition with bubonic plague, the first confirmed human case in Los Angeles County since 1984, health officials said Tuesday.”
