Two Russian artists hired a polling company to survey people from 13 countries and the Web to see what “the people” want and don’t want from their art. They then took the polling data and used it to inspire paintings of the most and least wanted paintings from each group. Basically, we’re talking Art by Committee, but filtered through the hands of two real painters. All the works are now posted on the web at Most Wanted Paintings on the web.
