What the left wants

The Wall Street Journal, talking about to censure the President for his illegal wiretapping program, published an opinion article today that states, “Everyone should understand that censure and impeachment are important–and so far the only–parts of the left’s agenda for the next Congress.” What the WSJ thinks about that is another story, but I think it is the right move for the left. The President’s approval ratings are in the mid-30s, he has admitted to breaking the law, and he has stumbled so often that he makes Gerald Ford look like a ballerina. In short, no one likes the guy, no one trusts the guy, and no one rests easy with him on the watch. If the Democrats want to capitalize on that, they should start talking about what they would do about it when they take back Congress. Even if they have to use the word impeachment.
