Helen Thomas, who is everyone’s favorite White House correspondent, has an article in the Nation today, entitled, “Lap Dogs of the Press,” where she writes, “Nothing is more troubling to me than the obsequious press during the run-up to the invasion of Iraq. They lapped up everything the Pentagon and White House could dish out–no questions asked.” You gotta love an old broad with spunk.
