My buddy got himself the Apple 20-inch flat screen monitor the other day, and I just got super envious.
That same day, I got a check from the college because they said something called a “loan refund” had arrived.
Then, coincidentally enough, a few days later, the UPS guy just showed up at my door carrying a 19-inch LCD monitor that he said someone was sending to me.
And it wasn’t even my birthday!

Bloom must be drunk or busy or just dead. Why isn’t he whining (in a pseudo tough guy voice) about how you, “Wasted your money on a piece of crap Apple”?

Probably because it was my buddy who “wasted” his money. I couldn’t afford the Apple, so I got a Samsung.
One thing I forgot to mention. The screen rotates 90 degrees! This is great for writing shit in Microsoft Word. The whole page is big and viewable. Very cool stuff.
I don’t understand this reference Leigh is making. Am I known for insulting people? I thought that was Leigh’s department.
I’m salivating over the apple stuff myself, and if I was spending someone elses money, or I had more of my own I’d buy their stuff in a heartbeat. But since I have a limited amount of money I probably wouldn’t buy one of their flatscreens.
I’ll take a picture tonight of my screens so I can be part of the gang too.
