The NY Times is reporting that Steve Jobs may be selling Pixar to Disney for $6.8 billion, a majority of stock, and a directorship at Disney. This would probably be the first step to Jobs eventually becoming CEO of Disney. Not sure how I feel about that. On one side, it might be the closest the company could come to getting a visionary similar to Walt as their CEO, breathing new life into the tired company. On the other side, Disney (post-Walt) is a rather sketchy company, becoming almost the Wal-Mart of creativity.
